As announced earlier this year, CAF 1.6 assessments will be phased out and fully closed on the 10th of October 2025. With this support article we would like to prepare any remaining facilities in the 1.6 CAF assessment cycle for the upcoming change.
For all facilities that have not yet completed 1.6 CAF assessment cycle, please keep in mind that after 10th of October:
Only completed self (joint) assessments will remain in the system. Any unfinished assessments will be automatically removed
To verify a CAF 1.6 assessment, you must arrange the verification before this date
After cutoff date, it won’t be possible to make further exceptions for impacted 1.6 CAF assessments
This article will guide you through the changes and options available to you depending on the status of your assessment on the cutoff date. The status of your assessment is visible on both SLCP Gateway as well as the Worldly platform.
1. Self (joint) assessment stage
-
Assessment not completed (status: ASI)
Unfinished assessments will be removed on the 10th of October.
-
Assessment completed (status: ASC)
Your assessment will remain available, and it will be possible to share it via Gateway after the October 10. However, you will not be able to start the verification process anymore on or after this date.
If your self (joint) assessment is completed, you can also transfer compatible assessment data to 1.7 CAF version. This option is free of charge for those with a Worldly subscription. If you don’t have the subscription, please reach out to Worldly’s support team for further assistance
If you require the 1.6 assessment to be verified, you must arrange this before the 10th of October. You need to ensure that the verifier accepts the verification and set the status to Verification started (status: VRP). The verification itself can then take place after this date, for as long as it’s been initiated before the cutoff date
2. Verification stage
If your assessment is already in the process of verification on the 10th of October, the cycle can be completed as expected. This means that all assessments with verification statuses below will be kept in the system and allowed to complete their 1.6 assessment cycle as expected:
Verification in Progress (VRP)
Verification Quality Check (VRQ)
Verification Being Edited (VRE)
Verification Completed (VRC)
3. Verified report stage
If the verification report has already been completed and in the Verification Completed (VRC) status on the 10th of October, it will still be possible for the facility to confirm and finalize the verification report (VRF) in the next 30 calendar days as per usual. It will also be possible to dispute the verification report (VRD) after 10th of October and follow the usual complaint process.
Frequently Asked Questions
After completing the self (joint) assessment, I have made an agreement with a Verifier Body (VB). However, they have not yet assigned a verifier to my assessment. What can I do?
Please make sure to follow-up with your chosen Verifier Body and ask them to assign a verifier as soon as possible and for the verifier to initiate the verification process. We have also informed the Verifier Bodies of this situation and asked for their cooperation to ensure that all facilities who still wish to verify their 1.6 joint (self) assessments are able to do so.
I have completed the1.6 CAF self (joint) assessment, but I don’t want to proceed with the verification. Can I use this assessment data for the CAF 1.7 assessment?
If you have already completed the 1.6 CAF self (joint) assessment and you do not want to proceed with verification, it is possible to transfer your compatible assessment data to a 1.7 CAF. assessment. For as long as the self (joint) assessment is completed before 10th of October, it will be possible to transfer your data to a CAF 1.7 assessment.
