The SLCP Gateway is the central platform for managing your SLCP self(joint) assessments and sharing your verified report. The database is hosted on International Trade Center (ITC) servers, who collaborate with SLCP in hosting and managing assessment data.
Setting up your Gateway account is the first step to sharing your social and labor data with brands and other partners worldwide. The first part of the guide we will discuss the Registration process, through which you create your facility profile on SLCP Gateway and your login details to be able to manage your facility profile. On the SLCP Gateway each facility can have only one registered profile. However, multiple employees of the same facility can have access to it once they are invited by the registered user account.
To participate in the SLCP assessment process, you must have an active account on SLCP Gateway platform. The first step in that process is to create a user account on the Gateway, after which you will be able to complete a facility registration. The facility registration is then submitted for approval to the SLCP Support team and reviewed within 1-2 business days.
Register your user account
Go to the SLCP Gateway and click "Register".
In the pop-up window you will need to provide the following information in English to complete the Facility profile:
- First name – add your first name in Latin alphabet
- Last name – add your first name in Latin alphabet
- Company email – provide an email address you use or have access to.
- Reason - In case you’re not using a business domain, please provide additional clarification
After submitting this information, an automated email will be sent to you to verify your email address. Once the email address has been verified, you will be able to submit your registration for approval.
Important: In case you do not receive this email, please check your Spam/Junk folder first. Alternatively you can also add donotreply@slcpgateway.sustainabilitymap.org and notifications@slcpgateway.sustainabilitymap.org to your safe senders list to ensure the email reaches you.
Complete your facility profile
Once you verified your email address, your user profile has been created. Now you can start finalizing the rest of the facility profile information.
Before submitting for approval, you can add the following information to your facility profile:
- Languages spoken at the facility [Recommended] – please fill in all the languages that are spoken at your facility, by employees as well as managers This information will be important for selecting verification body after completing the self/joint assessment
- Open Supply Hub number – you can create an Open Supply Hub ID here. In case need more information about this project, you can check their website or reach out to the OS Hub team directly
- Linked brands – here you can link all the brands you are currently working with
Tips to ensure a smooth approval process:

Match name on your license: Ensure the facility name and address match your business license or other relevant official documents.
- If you’re registering multiple facilities that belong to the same manufacturing group, you can add additional information such as unit name, plot number or partial address to the name to create a unique name for your facility. For example: ABC Garments Limited Plot 1 unit or ABC Garments Limited River Street unit
- Use English and write using the Latin alphabet: All profile fields must be filled out in English, using the Latin alphabet. Registration requests using other languages/alphabets will be automatically denied
- Avoid duplicates: Before submitting a request, please check if your facility or facility with a similar name is already registered on Gateway using the public registered facility list
- Check Better Work status – In some countries, Better Work-enrolled facilities can create a profile on SLCP Gateway and share data, while in others that will not be possible. To find out more information, you can visit this section of our Helpdesk
Submit your facility profile request
Complete the registration by clicking on Save Changes and then Submit for Approval.

Congratulations on completing all the steps to register your facility on SLCP Gateway! Your request will be reviewed by the Support team, and you will hear back from us within 1-2 working days from the day you submit your request.
If all information has been completed correctly and accurately, your request will be approved, and you will be able to start your SLCP assessment process. You can now start your SLCP assessment process and log into the Gateway platform to access your facility profile.
