SLCP charges some fees to Verifier Bodies (VBs) for application, quality management and to maintain the SLCP system. This article explains the costs for Verifier Bodies.
VBs must pay applicable fees to SLCP in different stages of the assessment, and in cases of necessary quality management.
Note: VBs are responsible for all bank fees associated with the payment of invoices from SLCP. If your bank supports it, please select the option "I will pay all costs" (or similar) to ensure this is handled appropriately.

How to pay VB application fees: Verifier Body Scheme Managers or Administrators must complete the SLCP VB/Verifier Application Fees - Payment Form This form will initiate the billing process, where SLCP will issue an invoice to the Verifier Body for the selected items and the total amount. SLCP will be issuing invoices on a weekly basis. Pay special attention to the fields you are filling out, because the invoice will be based on your selections which can include payment for both VB and Verifier applications within the same submission. Once SLCP receives the payment confirmation from the VB, the Verifier Body will receive a unique payment confirmation code from SLCP for each purchased item. The Verifier Body can proceed to the Sumerra site (VB Application, Verifier Application) to submit their application(s) with the applicable payment confirmation code for each type of application. We recommend VBs set up a payment tracking system to keep an inventory of used and unused payment codes, as each code can only be used once. Detailed information on the application fees and related payment can be found in the Technical Bulletin, “250520 VB Application Fee and Process”.

How should VBs determine the price for facilities? Each VB determines their individual price for a verification after a facility’s request for a quote. To inform your pricing for facilities, we suggest you refer to the following: The person days number in [ ] - as detailed on Table 5 of the Verification Protocol v1.7 - to ensure enough time is allocated for both onsite and offsite activities related to the verification. Quote the offsite time separately and clarify that is “offsite time required by SLCP for activities related to the verification (e.g., background research, self-assessment review, report writing, VB internal report quality review)”
