To complete an SLCP assessment, a facility must first access the Data Collection Tool by going to their preferred Accredited Host (AH) platform. Once the facility starts the assessment, they have access to the questions in the Data Collection Tool online as well as offline through download from the AH site.
A facility can complete the self/ joint-assessment online and if necessary download to the offline version, which will keep any answers that were already entered and saved online. A facility can also complete the self/ joint-assessment offline and upload to the online platform, which will keep any answers that were already entered and saved offline. This process of going from online to offline to online can be repeated as many times as necessary.
The final step is always to finish the self/joint-assessment online, as the AH runs checks on completion requirements. The checks may require the facility to review and edit answers. If the facility wants to do so, they can also upload any documents to the AH platform at this time before completing the self/joint-assessment. Remember that any uploaded documents will be shared with the Verifier as well as the users of the final verified assessment report, so keep in mind privacy regulations and confidentiality agreements.
