SLCP expects Verifier to conduct verifications with the highest level of integrity, and a commitment to high quality verified data as the outcome of the process.
An aspiring Verifier needs to (in consecutive order):
- Work for an approved Verifier Body
- Meet SLCP criteria (see below)
- Take the mandatory e-learning Verifier Course and Certificate consisting of 7 modules
- Pass the online proctored Verifier Exam

Approved Verifiers will be required to participate in a status maintenance program. Generally, this will consist of providing proof of continued activity in the industry, continuing education, and any additionally required training at an interval determined by the SLCP (e.g. annually).
