This article explains how SLCP enforces it's quality standards. All quality assurance checks carried out by SLCP have clear and meaningful consequences.
SLCP uses a range of follow-up actions and works closely with APSCA to ensure that Verifiers, Verification Bodies (VBs), and facilities comply with SLCP policies and protocols.
When non-compliance is identified, SLCP applies corrective measures based on the severity of the issue.
These follow-up actions protect data quality by:
- Linking mistakes to required remediation
- Holding Verifiers accountable for poor-quality reports or failure to follow SLCP protocols
- Removing unethical Verifiers, VBs, and facilities from the system
- Ensuring improvement actions for consistently underperforming Verifiers or VBs
- Eliminating inaccurate or unreliable data
All actions are applied on a case-by-case basis and are proportionate to the seriousness of the findings.
