This article explains the three types of training available to SLCP users, who each option is designed for, and how to access it.
Overview:
SLCP offers training to help all users understand and navigate the SLCP assessment process. Whether you are a facility, a Verifier, or another type of SLCP stakeholder, there is a training option designed for you. SLCP supports the learning journey of our stakeholders in three main ways – through self-paced learning options (SLCP e-learning) and trainings delivered by the SLCP team and our Training Bodies.
SLCP E-Learning
SLCP's e-learning platform offers online training courses that cover all aspects of the SLCP assessment process. The courses are free of charge.
The modules are organized into five courses, each designed for a specific user group:

Facility Course – New facilities should take this course to prepare to complete an SLCP assessment. This course consists of seven e-learning modules, but only the completion of modules 3, 6 and 7 are required to receive the certificate. The CODE found on the certificate should be added to the facility’s Gateway profile.
This course is available in English, Chinese, Turkish, Spanish, and Vietnamese. -
General Course – All other SLCP stakeholders, including brand representatives, industry associations, and agents can complete this course to better understand the SLCP assessment process.

Verifier Course – Required for aspiring Verifiers. This course includes the e-learning modules, guidance videos, a quiz and a final exam. Candidate Verifiers must complete all course requirements and pass the final exam before conducting SLCP verifications. This course is only open to candidate Verifiers and enrollment is managed by the VOO.

Verifier Body Manager Course – Required for Verifier Body administrators. This course is only open to Verifier Body administrators and enrollment is managed by the VOO.

Trainer Course – Required for aspiring Trainers. This course includes the e-learning modules and train-the-trainer activities. SLCP organizes in-person and virtual training sessions in multiple languages. Sessions range from introductory to more in-depth content and cover all aspects of the SLCP assessment process. Training by Training Bodies
SLCP partners with approved Training Bodies (TBs) to deliver in-person and virtual training in local languages. Training Bodies use SLCP-provided materials to develop sessions tailored to your needs.
