From midnight on 1 April 2026 (Hong Kong time), facilities select their Verifier Body (VB) from a list on the Accredited Host (Worldly), which filters and ranks eligible VBs based on quality scores. The process of selecting a VB on the Worldly platform remains the same for facilities.
As part of the SLCP verification process, facilities must select a VB to conduct a verification on their self-assessment. SLCP encourages facilities to take quality into account when selecting a VB.
Key features of the Verifier Body Selection Model
This model will be in place from midnight on 1 April (Hong Kong time)
- Facilities select their VB through the Accredited Host platform (Worldly) while completing their assessment
- Once an assessment is initiated (ASI), click on ‘Select VB’ to see your VB list
SLCP strongly recommends contacting VBs during the ASI stage to ensure availability before selecting them on Worldly. - Facilities will see scoring information for each VB. High-performing VBs are always on the list, and a random selection of medium and low-performing VBs are shown.
- Besides from quality scoring, a VB will only appear in the list if it meets all of the eligibility criteria
- VBs can no longer conduct two verifications in a row for a facility, minimizing potential biases
- If a VB is not visible to the facility, it means either the eligibility criteria are not fully met or the VB’s quality score did not meet the threshold for inclusion in the list.
What will a facility see when selecting a Verifier Body?
When selecting a VB, facilities will see a list of Verifier Bodies that includes the name, SLCP ID and VB score for each VB. Facilities must select a VB from this list, except in rare circumstances due to VB availability.
The score will be displayed as a number from 0-5, with 5 being the highest score. High-performing VBs are always on the list, and a random selection of medium and low-performing VBs are shown. Medium-performing VBs have a moderate chance of appearing, whereas low-performing VBs have the lowest chance.
