How does it work?
Facilities select their Verifier Body (VB) from a list on the Accredited Host (Worldly), which filters and ranks eligible VBs based on quality scores.
- Once an assessment is initiated (ASI), click on ‘Select VB’ to generate your VB list
SLCP strongly recommends contacting VBs during the ASI stage to ensure availability before selecting them on Worldly. - You will see each VB’s name, SLCP ID, and quality score
- High-performing VBs are always on the list
- A random selection of medium and low-performing VBs are shown
- VBs must meet all eligibility and quality criteria
- The VB that conducted your previous verification will not be on the list
- You must choose from this list, except in rare circumstances

Can a facility select a VB for a verification that takes place after the new model has been implemented?
Yes. You can still select a VB before 31 March 2026 for a verification that takes place after 31 March 2026 - this VB selection will remain valid.
After 31 March, you will be shown a specific list based off the new VB Selection Model. As the model introduces 'VB rotation requirements', the VB who conducted your previous verification will not appear in your VB Selection List after 31 March.
What is a 'quality score'?
SLCP assigns a quality score to VBs between 0 and 5, with 5 being the highest score. Lower scores correspond to verifications with more mistakes, and higher scores demonstrate better report quality. Facilities should consider scoring information when choosing their VB.
High-performing VBs: Scores of 4 or higher
Medium-performing VBs: Scores between 3 and under 4
Low-performing VBs: Scores below 3
Example: a VB that shows a score of 3.5 typically has more mistakes in a verification than a VB that has a score of 4.
What if the VB I want is not on the list?
If the VB is not shown on your list, it could be because the VB is:
- not approved for that country or does not meet other eligibility criteria
- scored below 4 and not in the random selection of medium and low-performing VBs shown to you
- the same VB who conducted your last verification
- currently suspended due to quality or ethical concerns
You must select another VB displayed in the list to proceed with your verification.
What should I do if the VB I selected is busy?
If the VB you want is not available within a suitable timeframe, you must select another VB from the list to ensure the verification can move forward.
If all the VBs on the list are unavailable to conduct your verification, you must request an exception. You must keep written evidence that you have contacted all VBs and they confirmed they are unavailable.
I’ve selected a VB on Worldly. Can I change my selection?
Yes. You will see a button on Worldly that says ‘Change VB’. You may select this button and pick a new VB from the list.
SLCP strongly recommends contacting VBs to ensure they are available before selecting them on Worldly, to avoid having to change the selection later.
What if there aren’t many approved VBs in my country?
If there are less than four approved VBs in your country, the list will show all available options. You will still see the score of each VB, allowing you to make an informed decision based on quality.
If there is only one approved VB, you must select this VB and it will be able to conduct a verification twice in a row. Verifier rotation requirements will still apply.
What is the eligibility criteria for VBs to appear on the VB Selection List, other than scores?
- Country approval
- Languages spoken at the facility
- In-country CSCA presence
- VB rotation requirements
- Verifier rotation
What should I do if I have a binding agreement to use a certain VB?
Any agreements with a VB must take into account SLCP’s VB rotation requirement - This means that a VB cannot conduct your verification twice in a row.
SLCP recommends you discuss agreements directly with the VB to ensure that rotation requirements can still apply.
