The Verification Oversight Organization (VOO) oversees the quality and integrity of the verification process. They do this by conducting a thorough Verifier selection process and Quality Assurance (QA) activities.
In both the Verifier selection process as well as QA activities (i.e., desktop reviews, shadow/counter/duplicate verifications, VB management checks), brands have a role to play. Feedback from brands on Verifier performance (e.g. related to report quality, perceived integrity) should be sent to the VOO. Also, brands can play a role in encouraging their supplier to host a shadow/counter/duplicate verification when requested to do so by the VOO.
Apart from the QA activities conducted by the VOO, SLCP runs an automated quality check on all verified assessments. This quality check takes place right after a Verifier submits the verified data on an Accredited Host platform. If quality issues are found they are corrected before the verified data is sent to the facilities.
In the end, learnings result in numerous system and process improvements that enhance user experience.
