You can choose an SLCP approved Verifier for your SLCP verification.
1. Where do I find a Verifier Body?
An overview of the Verifier Bodies (VBs) available in your country is available here. Contact VBs offline to request quotes and take a decision.
2. How can I select a Verifier Body for my verification?
When you have chosen a VB offline, select the chosen VB on the Accredited Host (AH) platform. The VB will receive an automated e-mail and will assign an approved individual or team of Verifiers to conduct your verification.
Note: your buyer may advise you to choose a certain VB, however, the choice is yours. We ask brands to accept verifications from any VB, not only their favorites. If your brand partner is not accepting your verified assessment because they do not like the VB, you can report this to us by filling in this form.
3. Why can I not select the Verifier Body I want?
A VB will only appear as an option if the country/region of operation matches between the VB and the facility, as well as the language spoken in the facility and by Verifiers linked to the VB. The match is made based on Gateway profiles.
Often, when the VB does not appear in the list on the AH platform, this is because the facility did not select all languages spoken in the facility (but only the main language spoken in the facility). You should update your Gateway profile in order to see a broader list of Verifier Bodies. More information on how to do that is here.
4. How can I change my Verifier Body?
If you are still in the self/joint-assessment stage, you can easily change the VB on your Accredited Host (AH) platform.
If the verification has already started (assessment status Verification in Progress), the facility cannot change the VB anymore. In exceptional cases we can make the change for you. This is considered an exception and can only be done before the start of the onsite verification. To request the change, submit a request here. Include in your request:
- SLCP Facility ID
- Facility name
- Assessment ID #
- The AH platform you are using
- Reason for changing the VB
