If you have mistakenly changed your assessment status to finalized (VRF), please immediately contact the SLCP Helpdesk to revert this. If your assessment was finalized and already shared with brand partners, it is generally not possible to make any changes or amendments.
Facilities are given 30 calendar days after receiving the assessment report (report status VRC – Verification Completed) from the Verifier to thoroughly review the report and either request edits, raise a dispute, or accept it. During this period, the facility must carefully review the content and ensure all information is accurate. Upon finalizing the report, the facility is also explicitly acknowledging that they have read the report and consider it complete and final without any further edits.
Reopening a report requires a manual review and approval from both SLCP and Worldly. This process is time-consuming and rarely granted. However, there may be exceptional circumstances that require edits, which is determined at the discretion of SLCP and VOO. For example, there is a material error in the facility profile section of the report that should be rectified. For details, refer to Section 8 of the QA Manual. Even if the report is not reopened, SLCP reviews all concerns raised by the facility to monitor for any potential Verifier Body quality issues.
Note: when the conditions in your facility have changed significantly since your last SLCP assessment, please start a new assessment to come to a set of verified data that accurately reflects the conditions in your facility. There is no need to wait until a year has passed.
