What is SLCP?
SLCP (Social Labor Convergence Program) is a multi-stakeholder initiative whose mission is to reduce audit fatigue and to improve working conditions in the global supply chains. You can find more information about SLCP in this article.

How can I get started with SLCP assessments?
We’ve organized all the steps we recommend new facilities to take when preparing for an SLCP assessment process in this article. Next to that, we also have more detailed resources available on:
- SLCP Gateway, which is the secure platform where all the assessment data is stored
- Completing an SLCP assessment
- SLCP Verification
- Sharing SLCP report
Does SLCP provide any scoring to the facilities?
No, SLCP does not provide any scoring or certifications to facilities.
SLCP has created a tool called the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF) to enable facilities to assess their working conditions. Facilities use the CAF to answer questions on various social and labor compliance topics, after which this data is verified by an SLCP approved Verifiers following a robust verification methodology. The outcome of this process is an SLCP Report – a set of verified social and labor data points that can be measured against multiple standards, Code of Conduct and certifications. Facilities control how they share their assessment data with multiple end users – such as companies, brands and retailers – through a unique and secure system designed to minimize audit fatigue.
You can find more in detail about the SLCP Assessment process in this article.
